Well we made it out of town. On the day we expected to as well. Sure, we had to replace an alternator and water pump before we left but we did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These first few days have felt a little surreal. It was tough to say goodbye to everyone and the last few days before we left have all started blending together because they went so quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Death Valley is hot. We took a handful of pictures before hopping back on the road. I’ll upload those later when I have more stable internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We spent the first night in Sequoia Natl. Forest, then spent the next day exploring Sequoia Natl Park, where we hung out around General Sherman (the biggest tree in the world by volume). We hiked around for a few miles, and found a place to camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having to store everything you own in a bear proof locker is … different. Luckily no bears came by though. Tonight and the next few nights are in Yosemite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
